💼 About the position:
Join us as a Partner Sales Manager (Industrial Sales Rep) and help bring clean solar energy to Mexico! In this role, you’ll work closely with our Sales team, CEO, Product Leads, and partners to identify business needs across Mexico, map tailored sales processes, and position Bright’s solutions to address those needs effectively. You’ll be responsible for playing a critical role in achieving our goal of installing 66 new MW of solar projects by June 2025. Success in this role requires a results-driven professional with expertise in B2B sales, partner relationship management, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment.
💻 Your Responsibilities:
As the Partner Sales Manager you will drive the development and execution of strategic partnership initiatives, ensuring the achievement of sales objectives through proactive relationship management, collaborative engagement, and data-driven decision-making. This role demands a results-oriented leader with a strong background in business development, partnership management, and consultative negotiations, capable of scaling partner-driven operations and aligning outcomes with Bright’s long-term goals. Your responsibilities will include:
Driving Strategic Partner Engagement: Designing and implementing targeted strategies to build and maintain high-value partnerships, ensuring alignment with Bright’s objectives and driving mutual success.
Achieving Sales and Performance Objectives: Establishing and exceeding sales targets by optimizing partner performance, analyzing data insights, and prioritizing growth opportunities within the partnership network.
Leading High-Impact Negotiations: Managing consultative negotiations with senior decision-makers, articulating Bright’s value proposition, and closing agreements that deliver measurable outcomes for both parties.
Supporting Partners Throughout the Sales Lifecycle: Guiding partners through every phase of the sales process, from initial engagement and training to proposal execution and post-sales support, ensuring seamless collaboration and results.
Collaborating Across Teams for Strategic Alignment: Partnering with cross-functional teams to align partnership strategies with business goals, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver solutions tailored to partner needs.

At Bright, we operate on the Objective Key Results System pioneered at Intel and used widely at Google and many tech companies. For this specific role, your Key Results (upon which your success will be measured) is:
Objective: Capture 30% market share in Mexico's industrial solar sector.
Key result: Increase post-commissioning weighted average IRR of all industrial projects by 1% by Q3 end. (From 23% post-commissioning weighted average IRR of all commissioned GDMT projects by Q2 end).
Objective: Maximize Customers' Lifetime value by ensuring customers are installed in the shortest time possible
Key result: 100% Conversion rate from Welcome Call to commissioning approved at 120-day cohort in Q3 (from 67% welcome call to comm. approved 120-day cohort conversion rate in Q2)
Key result:100% of Industrial SLAs from the Ops and CE teams delivered during Q3 (from 81% in Q2 2024).
