💼 About the position:
Join us as a Business Development Representative (BDR) to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! Work with our Sales team and play a critical role in achieving Bright’s goals by aligning with the company's priorities. You'll be responsible for generating high-quality leads, building relationships with senior decision-makers in the industrial and commercial sectors, and executing tailored outreach strategies to expand Bright's sales portfolio. You will collaborate with the CEO, Product Leads, and Sales team to drive our goal of installing 66 new MW of solar projects by June 2025
💻 Your Responsibilities:
As the Business Development Representative, you will drive the growth of Bright’s industrial and commercial solar solutions by leveraging strategic outreach, building relationships with senior decision-makers, and delivering measurable results. Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying High-Value Prospects: Conduct detailed market research to pinpoint industrial and commercial clients with significant potential for solar adoption and sustainability impact, setting specific outreach goals.
Building Executive Partnerships: Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with senior decision-makers, positioning Bright as their preferred solar energy partner and ensuring alignment with measurable client objectives.
Developing Tailored Energy Solutions: Collaborate with clients to assess their energy needs, design customized solar strategies, and deliver scalable solutions that align with their business goals and Bright’s mission.
Driving Client Acquisition and Growth: Lead strategic, results-driven outreach campaigns to engage high-potential prospects, secure long-term contracts, and exceed revenue growth targets.
Collaborating for Strategic Success: Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with Bright’s mission and objectives.

At Bright, we operate on the OKR system pioneered at Intel and used widely by Google and many tech companies. For this specific role, your Key Results (upon which your success will be measured) is:
Objective: Capture 30% market share in Mexico's industrial solar sector.
Key Result: 5 MWs in Signed Contracts during Q.
