💼 About the position:

Join us as a Sales Development Representative to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! Work with our Sales Team and play a critical role in achieving Bright's goals by aligning them with the company's priorities. You'll be responsible for being the first contact with people interested in energy generation, production, and efficiency and comparing our current model with the possibility of switching to solar. You will collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to drive success, with your performance evaluated based on the effectiveness of converting leads into scheduled video calls, the number of actual sales visits conducted, and the percentage of calls where an offer is presented.

🥇 Who you are:

  • You have a minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience in sales or customer service interaction.

  • You are comfortable speaking English and communicating concisely. (Preferred but not required).

  • You have the following  skills:

    • History of Success:

      • You have attended a top university and did well there.

        • (i.e., You graduated with honors, maintaining a high GPA (above 9.0) and receiving multiple scholarships for academic excellence).

      • You had experience abroad in a top university.

        • (i.e., You attended a prestigious university abroad and completed your degree with distinction, demonstrating high academic performance and global exposure).

      • You have consistently exceeded their quota at the previous company.

        • (i.e., You consistently exceeded your sales targets in your previous role, achieving 120% of your quota for three consecutive years and earning recognition as a top performer).

    • Proactivity:

      • (i.e., You have demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills by identifying and addressing potential issues before they arise, resulting in a 25% increase in operational efficiency).

      • (i.e., You have successfully launched and scaled multiple startups, driving innovation and growth in fast-paced environments while consistently achieving milestones ahead of schedule).

    • You are competitive:

      • You played a competitive sport.

        • (i.e., You played a competitive sport, demonstrating discipline and teamwork by achieving regional championships and maintaining a top-ranking position in your team).

      • You started a business or club.

        • (i.e., You founded a successful business or club from the ground up, leading it to achieve significant milestones and growth within its first year of operation).

      • You competed in academic activities and achieved 1, 2, and 3rd place.

        • (i.e., You competed in academic competitions and earned top placements, such as 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place, showcasing your dedication and expertise in your field).

      • You competed in some extracurricular clubs and did exceptionally well.

        • (i.e., You excelled in extracurricular clubs, where you took on leadership roles and achieved outstanding results, such as organizing major events or winning club competitions.)

    • Data and results-oriented:

      • (i.e., You help sales professionals make informed decisions, enhance their performance, and drive overall success by providing actionable insights and strategic guidance based on data analysis and market trends).

💻 Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

Prospect potential new leads:

  • For the first 1-6 months, you will start as a Sales Development Representative to qualify incoming leads and set up calls for Real Sales Visits (RSVs)  for Energy Experts.

    • This is hands-on training where you learn everything about our clients and how our sales funnel works.

      • (i.e., You will become familiar with our sales funnel process by participating in role-playing exercises, reviewing case studies, and shadowing experienced team members to understand how leads are nurtured and converted at each stage).

    • Once there is a proven track record as a Sales Development Representative, the Sales Development Representative can be promoted to close customers as an Energy Expert.

      • (i.e., You can be promoted in Bright after three months, according to your OKR's results, and you can have the opportunity to take responsibility for closing deals and guiding customers through the final stages of the sales process).


🎯 Your Key Results will be:

At Bright, we operate on the OKR system pioneered at Intel and used widely by Google and many tech companies. For this specific role, your Key Results  (upon which your success will be measured) is:

  • Objective: Conversion Rate of Video Calls.

    • Key Result 1: 35%-40% Conversion Rate from leads to the video calls scheduled in the month.

  • Objective: Number of Real Sales Visits.

    • Key Result 2: 40-66 Real Sales Visits (RSVs)  are the video calls scheduled where the client attended in the month.

  • Objective: No-Offer Rate for Scheduled Video Calls.

    • Key Result 3: 20%> No offer was presented for the video calls scheduled in the month.

      • This means less than 20% of the clients scheduled for video calls are absent.
