💼 About the position:

Join us as an Industrial Engineering Analyst to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! Work with our Operations team and play a critical role in achieving Bright’s goals by aligning with the company's priorities. You'll be responsible for ensuring the best customer journey for customers in the approval phase by giving first-hand technical solutions and follow-up. Finally, this position is in charge of analyzing the procurement of Bright products to deliver an efficient installation to our clients. You will collaborate with Industrial Sales, Project Managers and Procurement teams to drive profitability growth and conversion rate increase of industrial projects we sell.

🥇 Who you are:

  • You have a minimum of 4+  years of experience in the photovoltaic energy industry.

  • You are comfortable speaking English and communicating concisely 

  • You have experience with Photovoltaic software and best practices to simulations and energy optimizations.

  • You have the following skills:

    • Electrical Wiring Knowledge.

      • (I.e. You’ll be able to create and audit electrical wiring calculations respecting Mexican electrical norms).

    • Strong knowledge of industrial (Medium voltage) electrical installations. 

      • (I.e. You’ll be able to design solar PV projects that meet the relevant construction norms). 

    • Detail oriented.

      • (I.e. You can identify all possible obstacles that can affect our system’s production and identify all possible risks of soiling according to the type of industry).

    • Creativity.

      • (I.e. You can think out of the box to solve technical problems).

    • Organization.

      • (I.e. You are be able to deliver all the information needed according to our standards, and can provide deliverables on the time required (Service Level Agreement).

    • Communication.

      • (I.e You are able to take meetings with installers to round up design specifications and to communicate effectively with your team members and other departments).

💻 Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Solar PV Design delivery:

    • 100% Compliance with design audit in service level agreement.

      • (I.e. To warranty the accomplishment of Bright quality and financial standards in designs).

  • Project CapEd Auditing:

    • I.e. You’ll ensure turnkey EPC quotes are within Bright and relevant norm standards.

  • Engineering Audit:

    • Warranty the accomplishment of Bright quality design standards.

      • (I.e. You will ensure line diagrams are correctly dimensioned according to NOMS and ensure quotations from EPCs have complete scope to execute the construction in time according to the Gantt and Capex, you will ensure clear communication with EPCs regarding details and characteristics of final design specifications when requesting installation quotations).

🎯 Your Key Results will be:

At Bright, we operate on the OKR system pioneered at Intel and used widely at Google and many tech companies. For this specific role, your Key Results  (upon which your success will be measured) are:

  • Objective: Ensure Bright is financially sustainable by maximizing project profitability.

    • Key result 1: >99% accuracy on monthly forecasting vs real expenses. 

    • Key result 2: >10% total CapEx reduction (including marginal and overhead expenses).

  • Objective: Streamline overall supply chain processes to increase customer satisfaction

    • Key result 1: >30% reduction in material SLA complete delivery for residential, small commercial, and industrial projects.

    • Key result 2: 50% reduction in the average inventory rotation days.
