💼 About the position:
Join us as a Sales Engineer to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! Work with our Operations Team and play a critical role in achieving Bright’s goals by aligning with the company's priorities. You'll be responsible for analyzing project feasibility, reviewing potential production and CAPEX, and assessing risks. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations teams to drive successful project proposals and ensure technical viability.
🥇 Who you are:
Technical skills: You have a bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Industrial, or Renewable Energies) and you are comfortable communicating technical and financial data clearly.
Previous experience: You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales or pre-sales engineering in the solar industry.
Regulatory Requirements: You are familiar with local regulatory requirements and permitting processes for industrial solar installations.
Solar Project Financial and Production Analysis: You have proven experience with solar production simulations and CAPEX estimations for industrial-scale projects.
Analytical skills: You have the ability to identify risks and cost optimization opportunities early in project planning, including design optimizations, financial structures, or space utilization improvements.
Solar simulation tools and financial modeling software: You have proven experience conducting solar production simulations and CAPEX estimations for industrial-scale solar projects.
💻 Your tasks and responsibilities will be:
This involves ensuring cost efficiency and operational excellence by implementing precise budget forecasting tools, leading supplier negotiations, and optimizing delivery strategies. You will evaluate and select recruiting partners, monitor market trends, and establish incentive programs to drive the procurement and logistics team toward achieving strategic objectives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to align initiatives with company goals and enhance overall performance.
Implement budget forecasting tools to achieve over 99% accuracy in forecasts versus actual expenses by leveraging supplier invoice tracking and credit line management.
Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives to reduce total CapEx expenditures by 10%.
Lead high-impact negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms, ensure contract compliance, and address performance issues, contributing to cost-effective procurement processes.
Optimize last-mile delivery strategies to ensure timely, cost-efficient, and customer-focused logistics operations while reducing inventory through improved demand forecasting and real-time adjustments.
Evaluate and select external recruiting partners by developing performance metrics to build a strong talent pipeline aligned with company needs.
Continuously analyze market trends, supplier conditions, and emerging technologies to implement strategic improvements in procurement and logistics operations.
Establish OKRs for the procurement and logistics team and create incentive programs, including performance-based bonuses and recognition awards, to drive results.

Key result 2: >10% total CapEx reduction (including marginal and overhead expenses).
Objective: Streamline overall supply chain processes to increase customer satisfaction
Key result 1: >30% reduction in material SLA complete delivery for residential, small commercial, and industrial projects.
Key result 2: 50% reduction in the average inventory rotation days.
