💼 About the position:

Join us as an Industrial Sales Development Representative to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! Work with our Sales team and play a critical role in achieving Bright’s goals by aligning with the company's priorities. You'll be responsible for explaining energy generation, production, and efficiency to prospects and comparing traditional energy consumption with the possibility of switching to solar energy. You will collaborate with the industrial sales reps team to drive a constant flow of Real Sales Visits (RSVs) with high-quality leads.

🥇 Who you are:

  • You have a minimum of 3-year+ of experience as an SDR with B2B clients.

  • You have 4-years of experience in a Sales Team with a B2B target 

  • You have the following  skills:

    • History of Success:

      • You have attended a top university and did well there.

        • (i.e., You graduated with honors, maintaining a high GPA (above 9.0) and receiving multiple scholarships for academic excellence).

      • You had experience abroad in a top university.

        • (i.e., You attended a prestigious university abroad and completed your degree with distinction, demonstrating high academic performance and global exposure).

      • You have consistently exceeded their quota at the previous company.

        • (i.e., You consistently exceeded your sales targets in your previous role, achieving 120% of your quota for three consecutive years and earning recognition as a top performer).

    • Proactivity:

      • (i.e., You have demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills by identifying and addressing potential issues before they arise, resulting in a 25% increase in operational efficiency).

      • (i.e., You have successfully launched and scaled multiple startups, driving innovation and growth in fast-paced environments while consistently achieving milestones ahead of schedule).

    • You are competitive:

      • You played a competitive sport.

        • (i.e., You played a competitive sport, demonstrating discipline and teamwork by achieving regional championships and maintaining a top-ranking position in your team).

      • You started a business or club.

        • (i.e., You founded a successful business or club from the ground up, leading it to achieve significant milestones and growth within its first year of operation).

      • You competed in academic activities and achieved 1, 2, and 3rd place.

💻 Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

Building and maintaining relationships with channel partners, starting the relationship with web leads to generate high-quality leads, and scheduling sales meetings. These relationships ensure a steady flow of qualified leads that align with the sales team's objectives, helping them hit the sales quota.

  • Partner Engagement:

    • (I.e. Proactively engage with channel partners (brokers) to cultivate relationships and secure high-quality leads).

  • Lead Qualification:

    • (I.e. Implement and manage lead qualification criteria to ensure only the most relevant and potential leads are pursued).

  • Lead Scoring:

    • (I.e. Implement lead scoring system to prioritize leads based on factors like industry, energy consumption, and decision-maker proximity).

  • Lead Assignment:

    • (I.e. Based on the established rules, assign qualified leads to the appropriate sales representatives, ensuring efficient lead management).

  • Scheduling Sales Meetings:

    • (I.e. Focus on booking sales meetings with qualified prospects to ensure the sales team can close deals effectively).

This SDR role is critical for ensuring lead quality, optimizing the sales pipeline, driving revenue growth through strong partner collaboration, and strengthening our top-of-funnel.months, according to your OKR's results, and you can have the opportunity to take responsibility for closing deals and guiding customers through the final stages of the sales process).

🎯 Your Key Results will be:

At Bright we operate on the OKR system pioneered at Intel and used widely at Google and many tech companies. For this specific role, your Key Results  (upon which your success will be measured) is:

  • Objective: Capture 30% market share in industrial solar Mexico

    • Key Result 1: 40-66 Real Sales Visits (RSVs), either video calls or in-person sales visits, were scheduled, and the client attended them during the month.

    • Key Result 2: 35%-40% Conversion Rate from leads to the video calls or in-person sales visits scheduled in the month with leads with a lead score above 8.

    • Key Result 3: <20% Offer not presented for the video calls and in-person sales visits scheduled during the assessed period. In other words, less than 20% of the scheduled video calls and in-person sales visits are missed because the client doesn't attend.
