💼 About the position:
Join us as an Operations & Maintenance Contractor Coordinator to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! Work with our Operations & Maintenance Team and play a critical role in achieving Bright's goals by aligning with the company's priorities. You'll be responsible for transforming our O&M operations by reducing response times, increasing contractor capacity, and improving efficiency across our service delivery. You’ll help support our contractor network while deploying strategic improvements, new tools, and partnerships to streamline the function. Success in this role requires a hands-on person who can balance technical expertise, operational planning, and vendor relationship management to scale our service capabilities, enhance customer satisfaction, and support our growth.
🥇 Who you are:
Technical skills: You have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Renewable energy, Environmental, or other related fields, and 2+ years in operations, maintenance, or a similar field, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
English: You are comfortable speaking English and communicating concisely.
Problem-Solving: You approach challenges in field operations and management with creativity and structure, delivering practical and actionable solutions.
Collaboration: You thrive in cross-functional environments, working collaboratively with diverse teams such as installers, engineers, and customer service representatives.
Nice to have:
3D Modeling and Photovoltaic Software: You have experience with 3D modeling and photovoltaic software such as Helioscope, PVSystem, or AutoCAD for designing and analyzing solar systems.
Data Analysis: You have worked with large datasets and are proficient in tools like Power BI to extract and analyze critical operational insights.
💻 Your tasks and responsibilities will be:
This involves following up on technical visits efficiently: reviewing, evaluating, and adequately channeling all reports received from installers and solar engineers, optimizing cost, and generating diagnoses by system monitoring. You must be creative and organized, able to analyze the information in the reports to detect areas for improvement and preventive solutions. You will collaborate with the Data O&M, CE, and Billing Teams to drive Net Promoter Score (NPS) and default rates.
Ensure all Operations and Maintenance (O&M) tickets are resolved within the established timeframes by acting as the primary liaison between Bright and third-party installers to provide assessments, negotiate expenses, and request quotations.
Monitor trends to identify areas for preventive maintenance, ensuring long-term system health and performance.
Develop solutions to improve system reliability, optimizing service costs without compromising quality.
Generate and share concise reports analyzing system performance, complete with clear next steps to ensure proper follow-up.
To drive continuous improvement, provide updates and feedback to internal teams and external contractors.
