💼 About the position:
Join us as a Solar Project Manager for the Industrial Sector and help bring clean solar energy to Mexico! In this role, you’ll work closely with the Operations team to align project execution with Bright’s strategic priorities. You'll be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and installation of photovoltaic systems, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with electrical standards and CapEx constraints. You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments, you’ll address challenges, enforce safety protocols, and deliver high-quality systems that meet client expectations and drive Bright’s mission forward. Success in this role requires a professional with a proven ability to manage complex solar installations, ensure safety compliance, and achieve operational excellence while delivering measurable results.
💻 Your Responsibilities:
As the Industrial Solar Project Manager, you will lead the full lifecycle of industrial solar projects, ensuring optimal performance and seamless coordination across design, procurement, and installation teams. Your leadership will directly contribute to project success and stakeholder satisfaction.Your responsibilities will be:
Overseeing End-to-End Project Execution: Managing all aspects of industrial solar projects, from design to construction, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and deliverables within agreed timelines and budgets.
Driving Process Improvements: Identifying opportunities to enhance project timelines, reduce costs by at least 10%, and improve operational efficiency while maintaining adherence to quality standards.
Managing Stakeholder Relationships: Fostering collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives and achieve customer satisfaction at every stage.
Optimizing Designs and Procurement: Ensuring that project designs, procurement, and construction meet technical, cost, and time constraints while adhering to customer satisfaction and quality benchmarks.
Ensuring Technical Compliance: Supervising approved projects from kickoff to construction completion, guaranteeing technical compliance, effective communication, and timely deliverables across all phases.

A Technical Expert: With 5+ years of experience in electromechanical installations and at least 2 years in project management, you bring advanced knowledge of photovoltaic industry standards, including certifications like EC-0586.01.

An Exceptional Communicator: Your outstanding written and verbal skills in both English and Spanish ensure alignment and clarity across teams.

At Bright we operate on the Objective Key Results System pioneered at Intel, and used widely by Google and many tech companies. For this specific role, your Key Results (upon which your success will be measured) is:
Objective: Deliver seamless execution of industrial solar projects while maximizing financial returns and maintaining robust operational efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with Bright’s mission to drive sustainable energy solutions.
Key Result 1: Successfully installed 2.5 MWs of industrial solar projects (50% of 1.8 MWs Oct Goal + 1.6 MWs of 2024 YTD backlog) with an IRR > 22% during Q4.
Key Result 2: Maintain debt collection such that less than 50% of the remaining unpaid contract value in the 90–119 days bucket reaches 120+ days overdue by the end of each month.

Salary range: $45,000–$60,000 MXN monthly gross.
