💼 About the position:
Join us as an Data Operations and Maintenance Analyst to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! Work with our Operations team and play a critical role in achieving Bright’s goals by aligning with the company's priorities. You'll be responsible for following up on technical visits efficiently: reviewing, evaluating, and properly channeling all reports received from installers and solar engineers and generating diagnoses in accordance with system monitoring. The Operations and Maintenance Analyst must be creative and organized, able to analyze the information in the reports to detect areas for improvement and preventive solutions. You will collaborate with the Field O&M, CE and Billing Teams to drive NPS and default rates.
🥇 Who you are:
You have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Renewable Energies, Environmental, or other related fields).
You have a minimum of 1 year experience in Photovoltaic Energy.
You are comfortable speaking English and communicating concisely.
You have the following skills:

You have experience with 3D modeling and Photovoltaic software.
You have perception skills
You have electrical wiring knowledge and experience with APS and Hoymiles equipment.
💻 Your tasks and responsibilities will be:
Time management / Organization:
(I.e. You’ll ensure Operations and Maintenance tickets are solved on the established time).
Operational oversight:
(I.e. You’ll monitor the performance of solar energy systems and identify potential issues through data analysis. You gather data and analyze improvements to close the feedback loop with the operations teams).
Communication:
(I.e. You act as the primary point of contact between Field O&M and CE to provide instructions and initiate follow-ups to resolve system issues. You send out reports and analyses with concise explanations of system performance and provide clear next steps to ensure proper follow-up).
🎯 Your Key Results will be:
At Bright we operate on the OKR system pioneered at Intel and used widely at Google and many tech companies. For this specific role, your Key Results (upon which your success will be measured) is:
Objective: Become the solar energy company with the best service in Mexico.
Key Result1: Solved customer issues in <30 days average limiting that less than 1% exceeds the double of limit average restricted to OpEx Goals.
Objective: Ensure Bright complies with the guaranteed production of active interconnected systems
Key Result 1: 95% projects applicable to compensation reaching >85% of guaranteed production by contract, restricted to:
Cases where the underproduction stem from issues related directly to the performance of the photovoltaic system
Objective: Become Mexico’s best-in-class solar energy partner, capturing the largest market share and setting global standards for excellence in customer experience through proactive solutions and great cross-channel service.
Key Result 1: Q4 NPS > 58 (from 33 on Q1-Q3)
Objective: Minimize the number of delinquent customers who progress into default
Key Result 1: Collect current debt (evaluated each month) from customers at 90-119 days such that <50% of remaining unpaid contract value in this bucket reaches 120+ days past due at the end of each month (remaining unpaid contract value defined as total remaining expected payments on each contract)
