💼 About the position:

Join us as an Industrial Sales Development Representative to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! Work with our Sales Team and play a critical role in achieving Bright’s goals by aligning with the company's priorities. You'll be responsible for explaining energy generation, production, and efficiency to prospects and comparing traditional energy consumption with the possibility of switching to solar energy. You will collaborate with the Industrial Sales Reps Team to drive a constant flow of Real Sales Visits (RSVs) with high-quality leads.

🥇 Who you are:

  • Technical Skills: You have a minimum of 3-year+ of experience as an SDR with B2B clients and 4 years of experience in a Sales Team with a B2B target 

  • Academic Excellence: You attended a top university and excelled, graduating with honors, maintaining a high GPA (above 9.0), and earning multiple scholarships for academic excellence.

  • International Experience: You gained global exposure by studying at a prestigious university abroad, completing your degree with distinction and demonstrating outstanding academic performance.

  • Sales Performance: You consistently exceeded sales targets in your previous role, achieving 120% of your quota for three consecutive years and earning recognition as a top performer.

  • Problem-Solving: You have demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills, identifying and addressing potential issues before they arise, resulting in a 25% increase in operational efficiency.

  • Startup Leadership: You successfully launched and scaled multiple startups, driving innovation and growth in fast-paced environments while consistently achieving milestones ahead of schedule.

  • Athletics: You played a competitive sport, demonstrating discipline and teamwork by achieving regional championships and maintaining a top-ranking position in your team.

  • Entrepreneurship and Leadership: You founded a successful business or club, leading it to significant milestones and growth within its first year of operation.

  • Academic Competitions: You competed in academic challenges, earning top placements such as 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place, showcasing your dedication and expertise in your field.

  • Extracurricular Excellence: You excelled in extracurricular clubs, taking on leadership roles and achieving notable results, such as organizing major events or winning club competitions.

  • Decision-Making Support: You help professionals make informed decisions and enhance their performance by providing actionable insights and strategic guidance based on data analysis and market trends.

  • Sustainability and Impact: You are passionate about making a difference, with meaningful experience in the non-profit sector or sustainability field, such as volunteering or studying renewable energy, showcasing your commitment to social and environmental impact.

  • Public Speaking: You have served as a keynote speaker at academic events, presenting on influential topics, sharing your expertise with a broad audience, and receiving high praise for your engaging presentations.

  • Strategic Partnerships: You have experience raising capital or creating strategic partnerships, such as securing funding from investors or forming alliances that led to significant growth opportunities for your organization.

💻 Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • This involves building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners to secure high-quality leads, ensuring a steady pipeline that aligns with the sales team’s objectives. By engaging proactively with partners and optimizing lead management through qualification, scoring, and assignment, you will play a critical role in helping the sales team achieve their quotas. Success in this role requires excellent relationship-building skills, a strategic approach to lead management, and a focus on driving measurable results.

    • Partner Engagement: Proactively engage with channel partners (brokers) to cultivate relationships and secure high-quality leads.

    • Lead Qualification: Implement and manage lead qualification criteria to ensure only the most relevant and potential leads are pursued.

    • Lead Scoring: Implement lead scoring system to prioritize leads based on factors like industry, energy consumption, and decision-maker proximity.

    • Lead Assignment: Based on the established rules, assign qualified leads to the appropriate sales representatives, ensuring efficient lead management.

    • Scheduling Sales Meetings: Focus on booking sales meetings with qualified prospects to ensure the sales team can close deals effectively.

🎯 Your Key Results will be:

At Bright we operate on the Objective Key Results System pioneered at Intel and used widely at Google and many tech companies. For this specific role, your Key Results  (upon which your success will be measured) is:

  • Objective: Capture 30% market share in industrial solar Mexico

    • Key Result 1: 40-66 Real Sales Visits (RSVs), either video calls or in-person sales visits, were scheduled, and the client attended them during the month.

    • Key Result 2: 35%-40% Conversion Rate from leads to the video calls or in-person sales visits scheduled in the month with leads with a lead score above 8.

    • Key Result 3: <20% Offer not presented for the video calls and in-person sales visits scheduled during the assessed period. In other words, less than 20% of the scheduled video calls and in-person sales visits are missed because the client doesn't attend.
